Surfside's Family Fun Day

I loved covering this event, it is always such a blast! The Town of Surfside really knows how to create a spectacular event for its residents that's for sure. This year boasted some cool rides such as the dinosaur slide below, as well as face painting, food, arts & crafts, rock climbing wall & so much more. I love capturing the kids expressions while having a great time as well as the parents enjoying the day with their family. Thanks guys and I'll see you again soon! Enjoy~

My dog, Canon.

Yes, I know what I've become. I have become one of those crazy people which pull out their wallet photos to show you 25 pictures of their kid and tell you how cute they are. Only with me it's my dog. This is Canon, who loves to sit by my feet or behind my desk chair or just on the side and look out the window and occasionally up at me just to say hello while I work. I know I've spent too much time at the computer when he brings me several toys to throw for him. I can't explain it but I guess it's just these little things which bring me joy on a daily basis, keep me sane and make me smile. I had my camera on the desk this time since I'd just finished uploading some photos and decided to take advantage of a sweet serene moment. Todays thought is this: Notice the little things that bring a smile to your heart, and cherish them fully.

Palm Beach Zoo

West Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park is one of my favorite places to go spend the day. Even though I've been several times it does not get old. I was lucky enough this time to actually get a nice shot of the Florida Panther which I'd never even seen before on other visits (they are always sleeping you know). Anyhow my friend Greg (on the tractor there) and I went to go spend a nice day shooting it up (the healthy way). Enjoy~

It's my Birthday!

Well, about a week or so ago actually and I am just now finding the time to post about something really cool. One of the neatest cakes ever received which believe it or not was made from someone who does NOT do this professionally, my nephew Henry. He decided to learn to make a special fondant cake just for lil ole me and wow, I was blown away. Also, I received some very beautiful flowers from some of my biggest fans and I wanted to Thank them publicly. You know who you are D & M. Thanks for always being so sweet and thoughtful : ) p.s they are still blooming!!!!

Little Natalia

The first thing I noticed about this beautiful little girl were her eyelashes and beautiful eyes. Shooting Natalia and her family was a great adventure. She was such an awesome sport with the changing of outfits and locations. Always so intense on what catches her interest I enjoyed capturing her unique and beautiful expressions. Enjoy~

Kaelin's session

Kaelin's session was so much fun. What a joy it was to meet her and follow her around. I only wish I actually could've sat down for tea but you know I had to do that work thing. Thanks mom for having me out and I will be seeing you guys again soon!

Farlie family beach session

This was one of those sessions that I wanted to start all over again from the beginning because it went by too fast and was so much fun. As most of you know my usual age with children is about 2-5yrs and these kids were a little older but man that was so cool! They actually listen and stuff. Yeah, I'm not used to that, hee.hee. Anyhow it was a gorgeous day and I had very willing models with great ideas. I loved so many from this session is was hard to figure which to share. Thank you Farlie family for the wonderful opportunity in working with you. I hope you are enjoying your new family portraits!

The Aguero Family

It's always a joy photographing this family especially for their holiday portrait which included special photos with Grandma. You can see the fondness of her grandchildren who could not wait to get on her lap! So sweet. By the way that second photo is one of my favorites, just a sneak peek into these siblings relationship. These kids are so cute and animated, they always seem to do or say something that keeps me smiling way after the session is over. Enjoy guys and thank you again : )

A little old fashioned doggie fun.

Ok, I just HAD to share these with you. This just happened about a week ago. I was deeply concentrated on work and had kicked my dog Canon out of the room. Needless to say when I came out in the hallway I had a *big* surprise. I must say my first instinct was to grab the camera and boy am I glad I did. I still laugh when I see these.

Dear fellow blog readers...

It's been awhile. What can I say, the holidays just caught up with me and I can't believe we're already into the third week of January. Anyhow just wanted to share some insight as to the reasons I did not post any sessions from the holidays. Many of the holiday sessions were done for a couple of reasons, one of course for the Holiday cards (love those!) also for portrait gift prints. I didn't want to spoil the surprise because many of my clients know each other and well, I love surprises and would never want to spoil the fun. However it is way past Christmas and now I can share, whoo-hoo! Next post with images, here I come.
